AI adoption

A practical plan for using AI across your business — from people who use it every day.

Sound familiar?

  • "Our staff are already using AI. We have no idea what they're putting into it."
  • "We've been told to ban it, or to buy Copilot for everyone. Neither feels right."
  • "We can see AI could save us time. We don't know where to start, or what it will cost."

What we deliver

  • A readiness assessment across sales, marketing, finance, operations, customer service and HR — the tools, data and skills you already have
  • Walk-throughs of your busiest processes to find where the time goes: re-keying, copy and paste, manual reconciliation, approvals stuck in email
  • Opportunities ranked by value, effort and risk, each with an honest cost
  • A one-page roadmap tied to your business goals, covering the next 30 days, 90 days and year
  • Governance from day one: an acceptable use policy, approved tools, the data that never goes in, and a named owner
  • Workshops for directors and hands-on sessions for staff, built on your own documents and processes
  • A baseline measured before anything changes, so the results are numbers rather than impressions

How an engagement runs

  1. Diagnose

Short conversations with each part of the business and a look at the systems and data behind them. Usually three or four days across two or three weeks.

  2. Plan

A roadmap and an acceptable use policy, presented to the owners. Quick wins first, bigger changes where the numbers justify them.

  3. Prove

Two or three pilots, measured against the baseline. If a pilot doesn't earn its place, it stops there.

  4. Embed

A day or two a month, if you want it: reviewing results, training new people, and checking new tools before you buy them.

Banning AI doesn't stop it

It drives it underground, where nobody can see what data goes where. The safer route is to allow it openly, with clear rules. We have helped an organisation move from a blanket ban to sanctioned, transparent use, and introduced a development process there that delivers work at least ten times faster than before.

We also advised a Microsoft partner to adopt AI across the company, and trained its staff.

Advice from people who build

We use AI on every delivery and in running our own business, so our recommendations come with an accurate sense of what it can do, where it gets things wrong, and what it really costs. Most of the time the first job is getting the data into shape — something we have done for organisations large and small.

If the plan includes building something, we can build it. You are free to put that work out to anyone. And if the honest answer is that AI isn't the fix, you'll hear that too.
